If the diffuser of the jet requires a PIN assembly to rotate the water discharge section, you must order the complete jet. Replacing only the diffuser will not suffice.
This product is a diffuser from the rear end of the Waterway Power Storm Jet. It’s the white plastic part that occasionally fails on this model.
This diffuser is compatible with regular Power Storm internals. However, it does not fit the Power Storm II internals, which have a significantly different design.
On July 19, 2011, Waterway made a product modification to all Roto and Twin Roto Storm jet eyeballs. This change fixed the eyeballs in the desired “spin” orientation. Previously, spa users had to manually adjust the eyeballs to achieve the correct spin. Despite this change, the overall appearance of the jets remains largely unchanged.
The218-6610 Waterway Diffuseris a component for thePower Storm Jetseries.
Length: It measures approximately4 1/4"in length.
Width: The inside width is about2 1/2".
Diameter: The internal diameter at the large end is2-9/16".
Small End: The small end measures1".
Big End: The big end measures2 9/16".
Please note that this diffuser does not come with the small insert that snaps in the end. This will require an additional part, WW# 218-6620, by Waterway Plastics. This diffuser is a replacement part that snaps onto the back of the face. It’s important to maintain proper water hardness as poor water chemistry can cause these diffusers to break down.
These diffusers can be easily assembled just like the original ones. Once assembled, the jet internal will fit perfectly, providing you with performance like new at half the cost.
These diffusers are specifically designed for Waterway Spa Jets and may not be compatible with other models.
For damage-free installation, please follow these steps:
Place the jet faceplate on a flat surface like a table.
With the internals already installed in the diffuser, align the diffuser squarely on the faceplate.
Once it’s squared and aligned with the snap-on positions, apply pressure straight down (not at an angle). This will ensure that it slides on evenly without breaking.
